About This Show
For more than 50 years, the Atlanta Rhythm Section has been a fixture of classic rock radio. Born out of the legendary Studio One in Doraville, Georgia, the band began as a group of seasoned session players and grew into one of the most respected acts of the 1970s. Their sound blends Southern grit with polished, radio-ready melodies, earning comparisons to the Eagles and Steely Dan as often as to their Southern rock peers.
Across 15 albums, ARS delivered a string of timeless hits including “So Into You,” “Imaginary Lover,” “Champagne Jam,” “Spooky,” and “Homesick.” Their songwriting and musicianship have made them a favorite of anyone who loves the golden era of rock, and their live show brings those songs to the stage with the same craft that made them classics.
Join us at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre for a night of smooth grooves, great guitar work, and the songs you’ve been singing along to for decades. As the band likes to say, come have yourself a “Large Time!”
